Putting People First: Developing Best Cultures for Practice. Conference 18th June

Leeds City Council Adult Social Care, Leeds Beckett University and York Street Practice are holding a free one-day conference focusing on the theme of promoting ‘cultures of inclusivity’ within health and social care.

Thursday, 18 June 2015 from 09:00 to 16:30.

The conference will bring together people who use services, carers, students, academics, practitioners and managers, to all equally engage in innovative thinking and lively debate to develop meaningful ways of providing best service ‘cultures of inclusivity’. By putting people first we will develop best cultures for best practice.

Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to hear talks from frontline service practitioners and expert academics, including writer and mental health campaigner Lisa Rodrigues CBD, Head of Transformations for the NHS Group Jackie Lynton and Professor Lena Dominelli. There also will be a series of workshops taking place that will explore the topic in more depth.
